HERD OF STUDS” LOS POZOS”

Under the sun of Andalusía, in the triangle-center formed by Seville, Malaga and Jerez de la Frontera, is situated in the municipal district of Villamartin, the “Finca Los Pozos”, where from 1.978 was initiated, conducted by the livestock Mr. Andrés Holgado Dianes, the breeding of the spanish thoroughbred with two different lines: dapple-grey and brown hair.

The dapple-grey line was initiated with mares from the heir of Mr. Manuel Bohórquez livestock and the brown hair with the military herd of stuck.

The studs in the dapple-grey line are from Mr. Miguel Ángel Cárdenas livestock and the brown hair ones are from the military herd of studs and Mr. José Luis de la Escalera livestock.

After an exhaustive selection process, this breed has benn improving, leading in Herd of studs “Los Pozos”.
